Heavy Duty, Done Right: Tiel Logistics Transports 95 MT Ring with Precision and Expertise

Tiel Logistics B.V., a member of the Project Logistics Alliance representing the Netherlands, has recently completed the transport of an 8-meter diameter ring from factory to barge in an operation requiring exceptional coordination.
The ring, weighing 95 metric tonnes, was carefully secured at the factory using rigging equipment. Each aspect of the load was double-checked for stability and safety before transport began.

The heavy-lift operation utilized a 10-axle semi-trailer and a mobile crane to move the massive ring to the barge. Due to its size, the operation required thorough planning and coordination, including road clearance checks and safe routing to avoid obstacles.
At the barge loading site, the mobile crane precisely lifted and positioned the ring onto the waiting barge. Team Tiel Logistics ensured all operations were conducted smoothly and in compliance with safety regulations. The final step involved securing the ring on the barge for transport.
