The 105 MT/10 T. overhead traveling crane, which consists of –

• 2 beams, each measuring 35 x 4.85 meters and weighing 85 tons
• A trolley car with total dimensions of 9.10 x 7.05 x 3.80 m. – 95 tons

Needed to be delivered from the manufacturer in Ankara to an end-user in Dilovası. But the road to the final destination was lying through a bustling container port like a hive during the day. That made entrance to the factory possible only after midnight once everything slowed down, but this problem was only the tip of the iceberg.

There were guardrails on the bridge at the last bend before the entrance to the premises, which were preventing passage to the factory. The unorthodox solution that the Network Global Logistics team came up with made this daunting job became easy.

In order to overcome the last obstacle, beams were lifted up and supported by chocks, so turning the narrow-angle with such length becomes possible. Thanks to the unique and unconventional method, the cargo was safely delivered to the consignee with minimum possible costs since shipments with such dimensions usually arrived at the factory only by sea.
