Steder Group Demobilizes CAT Base Machine From Puerto Rico To The Netherlands

The project logistics department of Steder Group, representing the Project Logistics Alliance in the Netherlands and the UK, has recently demobilized a CAT 6015 base machine of 67 MT together with boom and stick from Costa Rica with a container vessel, by means of Break Bulk.

The base machine with the dimensions of 12.6 x 3.8 x 3.7 meters was loaded at Port of Moin in Puerto Rico, together with the front boom (15.34 x 1.5 x 2.5 meters, 13.000 kg) and the stick (15.35 x 1.00 x 2.29 meters, 10.000 kg). After transshipment in Manzanillo, the cargo was discharged in Rotterdam and delivered on flatbed trailers until the consignee premises in The Netherlands.

Due to current space limitations and rate issues, movement within the budget and given time frame was a true challenge for the experienced staff at the project logistics department. Great handling, team Steder Group!
