Repremar Logistics S.A., a member of the Project Logistics Alliance representing Uruguay and Paraguay, has recently completed an extraordinary operation in collaboration with a partner company. The operation involved the management of the vessel - Furkay and the transportation of four luxury yachts costing over 6,000,000 USD.

The shipment, originating in Genoa, Italy, included the following four yachts: 2020 Riva 76 Grand Bahamas, 2015 Nauta Air 90, 2013 Vandutch 55, and Pardo 43. The heights of the yachts ranged between 4.2 and 10.5 meters. The handling of the transportation aboard the Furkay was overseen by Repremar Logistics’ sister company, Repremar Shipping Agency, and the yachts arrived aboard the vessel in Montevideo, Uruguay. At the Port of Montevideo, team Repremar Logistics worked with the partner company on the unloading of the yachts. The process required two days of thorough, coordinated work.

The success of this operation does not only highlight the expertise of team Repremar Logistics, but also the professionalism of the team when it comes to delivering great results through internal collaborations within the Repremar Group. Additionally, it is worth noting that Mr. German Pena, one of the directors of Repremar Logistics, recently traveled to the Bahamas to personally oversee the loading of another yacht onto an MSC vessel for transport to Montevideo. This hands-on approach underscores Repremar Logistics' commitment to excellence, especially considering the delays the vessel had faced in recent weeks.
