Regular Mill Roll Shipments From DEALEX Transport

The shipments of mill rolls are becoming a regular business for the project department of DEALEX Transport, Project Logistics Alliance member from Ukraine. This report is about two units of 123 mt each with dimensions of 8.4 x 2.5 x 2.7 meters.

The tricky part of this job was to position the cargo in a very specific position on the railway, strictly aligned with the r/w transporter axes. The liner allowance is only 20 mm, which is surgical with this weight, especially when discharging with crane vessels. Neither the ship nor the local stevedoring companies could guarantee such a level of precision, and DEALEX always makes sure to send their in-house supervisors for overseeing the entire operation on site.
