Their partner, Advatis Projects & Engineering, was responsible for the complete dismantling of the plant, its transportation to West Africa, and installation at sites in Sindia, Senegal, and Ouagadougou, Mali. Advatis entrusted the logistics operations to Heavy Industry Logistics. In collaboration with its partner, Heavy Industry Logistics expertly managed the transport of the engines aboard the MV Janis, which embarked on a 6,094-nautical-mile voyage to Dakar.
Meticulous planning and coordination were crucial in overcoming the logistical challenges posed by the heavy cargo. This project stands as a testament to Heavy Industry Logistics’ precision and expertise.
Congratulations to the Heavy Industry Logistics team from all of us at the Project Logistics Alliance!
