Recent operations by Total Movements involve the transportation of two 250 MVA 225/115/33 KV Auto Transformers from Indonesia to Vietnam. These units, collectively weighing 300 Metric Tonnes, measured 8 x 12 x 5.7 meters.
Originating from the suppliers works in West Java, the transformers embarked on a journey with Tanjung Priok Sea Port as their next destination. The units were to be loaded onto a waiting vessel, marking a crucial juncture in their journey towards their final destinations - Ho Chi Minh and Haiphong in Vietnam. A pivotal aspect of this move was securing the right vessel on short notice, given a tight deadline from the client. Total Movements navigated this challenge with precision, chartering an entire vessel exclusively for this transport. Once the loading operation was complete, the transformers set sail toward Ho Chi Minh, where the first transformer would be efficiently discharged. The vessel then continued its onward voyage to Hai Phong, where the second unit would be delivered.
