National Air Cargo Orchestrates Logistics for an Orchestra's Asia Tour

From oil field machinery to heavy aircraft parts, online deliveries to emergency aid relief materials, defence equipment to live orchestra instruments, National Air Cargo (NAC), Project Logistics Alliance’s Project Air Chartering Partner excels in moving all kinds of big, heavy, or complex cargo across continents. Continuing its tradition of supporting global cultural events, NAC provides support for several orchestra tours around the world each year. They are pleased to share their involvement in this year's tour, which took the Orchestra from Vienna to Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.

NAC's expertise ensured the safe and timely transportation of valuable and delicate musical instruments, thanks to its PMC build-up in the onside warehouse close to the apron. All shipments were meticulously temperature-controlled and protected with thermo-blankets, meeting the stringent requirements necessary to preserve the integrity of these instruments.
From the initial pickup to the final delivery at the orchestra houses, NAC handled every step of the logistics process. The company offered on-site support from one of their dedicated project managers, who accompanied the tour from the build-up phase in Europe until the final breakdown. This hands-on approach guaranteed seamless coordination and execution throughout the tour.
