But in today’s world, it is undeniable that networking is a powerful tool that makes or breaks your career. It is more than just a buzzword and is summed up in the phrase – “Your Network Is Your Net Worth.”

Continuously expanding and increasing your network can have great importance in recruitment, business deals, partnerships, marketing, and so much more. A lot of us usually are lost and shudder at the thought of networking, associating it with awkwardness, tacky events and the most challenging part of selling ourselves. Despite these off-putting thoughts, networking is all about building long-lasting relationships along with a difficult to beat reputation over time.

The logistics industry being a competitive market, one requires the right combination of transporting and forwarding partners and clearing houses. We believe each shipment of project cargo is different and requires trust, expertise and focus on maintaining high-quality service.

In these changing times, it is essential that our community thrives and helps each other out in times of need. Understanding this, we at the Project Logistics Alliance strive hard to hold at least one in-person networking event each year.
