Livo Logistics, a member of the Project Logistics Alliance based in Italy, recently teamed up with its Shanghai office to transport three significant pieces of belt conveyor equipment from Italy to Qinzhou, China. The project was commissioned by Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering Co. Ltd., and the components, weighing 138 tons and measuring 9.8 x 3.4 x 2 meters, were to serve as components in a shipbuilding yard.

To begin the project, Livo Logistics collected the components from the factory and loaded them onto special low-bed trailers using cranes. The cargo was then moved to a port with a special road permit and assistance from local authorities to ensure safe passage. Once the cargo arrived in China, Livo Logistics used a shore crane at its discharge port to unload the cargo, and the company also handled all necessary documentation, including export customs formalities.
The project's complexity required a comprehensive and precise plan, which the team at Livo Logistics expertly executed to ensure success in each shipment stage. The shipowners' tight deadlines pushed the company to conduct loading and unloading operations on schedule, ensuring timely delivery. Throughout the project, Livo Logistics monitored and updated the client on their shipment's progress, showcasing their commitment to providing top-notch services.
Congratulations, team Livo Logistics!
