HiLOG Successfully Executes Complex Rig Move in East Africa

Kamsamba, Tanzania – Project Logistics Alliance's founding member for Kenya, Heavy Industry Logistics (HiLOG), recently completed a small rig move from a remote location just south of Nairobi destined for Kamsamba in southern Tanzania.

HiLOG was responsible for loading the trailers, arranging lashing materials and lashing, and arranging the transport from site to site. At the border, 2 cranes were positioned to assist with disassembling the 2 heavier pieces to ensure that the road regulations in Tanzania complied with. All permits and escorts were obtained smoothly, and the rig departed for its next project site.
