Heavy Lifting By Hareket On Artificial Islands

Hareket Heavy Lifting & Project Transportation, who are representing the Project Logistics Alliance as a member for Uzbekistan, have successfully executed the operations of a heavy lift project in Dubai. This vibrant city will be the destination of the Annual Global Meeting of the Project Logistics Alliance this year. More details you can find if you click here.

The operations of this project took place at the Marsa Al Arab construction site and have started on the 1^st of January 2021. Exactly after 3 months, the project was concluded at the end of March. With the help of a 750 tons capacity Liebherr LR1750 crawler crane, the project experts from Hareket lifted arch segments with a weight between 120 tons and 210 tons.

Marsa Al Arab will be another luxury destination in Dubai and will consist of two islands; a luxury resort and an island dedicated to entertainment and family tourism with theme parks, boutique hotels, and entertainment venues.
