Project Logistics Alliance’s member Hareket Heavy Lifting & Project Transportation Co., representing Uzbekistan, transported special equipment from Iskenderun Port to Khor-Mor Gas Power Plant in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.

Khor Mor gas field is considered the largest regional private sector upstream gas operation in Iraq and has a $250 million boost from the U.S. Government. This project will increase natural gas production at Khor Mor by 50 % by 2023.

 The Hareket Team loaded two large pieces measuring 33.4m x 4.4m and 34.5m x 4.1m (length x height) along with other accessories from Iskenderun Port. This was transported to the Khor-Mor Gas Power Plant, which was about 1400km away with 58 vehicles. The vehicles included 30 low bed trailers, 20 standard trucks and 8 94-axle hydraulic trailers.

Under the control of the permission protocols with the General Directorate of Highways and local administrations, arrangements were made in accordance with the passage on the route. This complete operation was completed successfully without any incidents.
