This injection moulding machine boasted a volume of 615 cubic meters, with its heaviest components being the moulding plates, each weighing a substantial 70 tons. The journey commenced at Taicang Port in China, where the injection moulding machine was expertly loaded onto a vessel. In order to ensure a seamless transition, a specialized break-bulk vessel equipped with its own crane was specifically chosen to handle this unique cargo.

Before embarking on the final leg of the journey from the port to the customer's facility, weight portals were employed to stabilize the cargo during transit. Additionally, certain cargo items were securely loaded onto flat racks to guarantee a smooth and secure movement. The transportation of the cargo took place overnight, with special permissions obtained from relevant authorities, covering a distance of 100 kilometres from the Santos port. The meticulous planning carried out by the Grupo V Santos team not only resulted in a flawless delivery but also led to significant savings in warehousing expenses. Congrats to the Grupo V Santos team for a job well done!
