With only 20 days for the Annual General Meeting in Dubai, we are starting the final countdown! And before most of you get ready to fly out, we have created a checklist that will guarantee you make the most of the only project logistics event happening this year!
Travelling to Dubai
Dubai is open to all the tourists once again! Check if you need a visa. Depending on your nationality, you can get a visa on arrival or apply for your prearranged visit visa from Dubai Immigration before you travel.
All passengers travelling to Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a negative COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. The certificate must be a Reverse Transcription‑Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT‑PCR) test. Other test certificates, including antibody tests, NHS COVID Test certificates, Rapid PCR tests and home testing kits, are not accepted in Dubai. Travellers must bring an official printed or digital certificate in English or Arabic to check-in – SMS certificates are not accepted. PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station.
Business Networking
Starting the 20th of October, once the registration process is concluded, bring on your best game to meet all your fellow members and partners over the course of three days at a specially curated mix of formal and informal events to ensure you leave with friends and business partners for a lifetime.
Pro tip: Don't forget to select companies you want to meet with beforehand to make the most of the networking experience!
Visiting the World Expo 2020
When you are not busy networking, we strongly advise you to visit the World Expo 2020. The Dubai Expo will begin on the 1st, 16 days before our 2nd Annual General Meeting in Dubai. The Dubai World Expo is a unique opportunity that brings together countries, businesses, cultural productions and most importantly, people to share innovations, ideas and perspectives of our ever-transforming world. Travel Around Dubai
While getting a picture with the Burj Khalifa is an important aspect, we recommend wandering old Dubai's backstreets in Al Fahidi Historical District. Shop till you drop at the Dubai Mall. Bored of the cityscapes already? Head over to Al Qudra lake to spot some flamingos
