Project Logistics Alliance member for Hong Kong, Freja, successfully moved 8 transformers each unit weighing 71 tons with 520x330x380 cm dimensions from a factory to the Taicang Port, where they were further shipped to Maputo, Mozambique.

Freja's capable team handled the pick-up from the factory using low-bed trailers, where they organized the port handling, loading onto the heavy lift geared vessel keeping in mind the special care requirements for transformer transport, and lashing to ensure that the cargo with the total 1020 CMB was securely sent to its destination. In order to avoid truck and vessel detention and have the cargo shipped on time, coordination between the port and owner had to be carefully managed, but thanks to Freja’s expertise, this was done without any issues and delays.
