Our Indian member Express Global Logistics Private Limited (EXG), smoothly executed the movement of a Waste Heat Assembly for a well-known company. The cargo measured 20 metres in length, 6.9 metres in width, and 5.9 metres in depth and weighed 190 metric tons in total. The cargo was moved from Yamuna Nagar, in the Indian state of Haryana, to Kandla Port-Gujarat.

The company’s scope of work for transportation had some salient features and challenges that they overcame with careful planning and tapping into the expertise of the EXG team. Their seasoned operations and clearing team managed approvals from various government agencies and port authorities to execute the project.

EXG Team faced several challenges including the ongoing new infrastructure development Bharatmala Pariyojana area, permissions from various authorities, and numerous civil works en route to facilitate the cargo movement, but they safely delivered it.
EXG’s asset management, heavy hauling, and engineering teams coordinated to create detailed plans in advance and did route surveys to plan for cargo movement.
