Weighing 4,360 tons and measuring 72m x 27.4m x 35.3m, the massive BMPP II was safely and efficiently transported to its final destination in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. This intricate vessel-on-vessel operation presented several significant risks, including potential vessel collisions, safety hazards, cargo damage, delays, and cost overruns. However, through meticulous planning, expert execution, and a strong focus on safety, our team effectively mitigated these challenges, ensuring the operation was completed flawlessly and on schedule.
Using a specialised semi-submersible vessel to deliver the BMPP II to Kolaka, team Total Movements International showcased the company’s extensive expertise in project logistics and freight forwarding. Furthermore, this operation demonstrated Total Movements’ commitment to excellence, safety, and timely execution when it comes to handling such complex projects.
We, at the Project Logistics Alliance, are proud to witness team Total Movements International’s continued commitment to achieving new milestones.
