Comprehensive Planning from Tiel Logistics B.V. Leads to a Seamless Shipment for an Offshore Project

Tiel Logistics B.V., a member of the Project Logistics Alliance based in the Netherlands, recently managed the transportation of a 100-ton pile guide from Spain to the Netherlands. This guide, with a diameter of 9.9 meters, was intended to serve as a tool for foundation structures for an offshore project at its destination in the sea.

The cargo was collected from the factory and transshipped with harbor cranes into a coaster, and sailed to the Port of Rotterdam. Once in Rotterdam, the Tiel Logistics team arranged the transshipment ex-coaster onto a barge for further delivery to the client. Tiel Logistics' meticulous planning was communicated effectively to all parties involved, resulting in a seamless transport operation. Despite the tight schedule, the shipment arrived on schedule and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
