Blue Bell Shipping Ships Cargo for World 2020 Expo Site

Last month Blue Bell Shipping, our Iraqi member, was contracted to ship OOG cargo under EXW terms from Ottawa, Canada and the USA to the expo site in UAE. The cargo, parts for solid fuel burner, was extremely time-sensitive since their client wanted to finalize all the work in the World 2020 expo site.

Since RoRo was the most economical and provided the best transit route, it was chosen to deliver the cargo on time.

Final Delivery: World Expo 2020, Dubai

The cargo consisted of 5 packages, with 4 of the packages having dimensions of 4.27 x 4.27 x 1.7 meters and weighed 10,200 kg. The last package weighed 28,231 kg and measured 3.71 x 4.32 x 4.01 meters.

The complete scope of work undertaken by the operations team at Blue Bell was trucking from Ottawa to Baltimore Port, loading and securing cargo onto MAFI trailers, ocean freight and import formalities in UAE, trucking from Jebel Ali to expo site in UAE, offloading and installation of cargo atop the construction base.
