There is no doubt that lockdowns during the pandemic disrupt logistics operations. Nevertheless, even the lockdown in Shanghai couldn’t stop PLA member Aprojects Austria from loading a break bulk shipment onto a container vessel.

Four pieces of cargo, consisting of housing, were loaded in Shanghai and delivered to Rotterdam. Each housing measured 915 centimetres in length, 400 centimetres in width, 145 centimetres in height, and weighed 70400 kilograms. Additionally, other materials were stuffed into 4x40 Standard High Cube containers.

Aprojects Austria was also in charge of delivery and obtaining proper permits once the cargo arrived in Rotterdam. Once the shipment arrived in Rotterdam, Aprojects Austria’s sister company, Aprojects Netherlands, took over and professionally handled the local transportation of the project.
This project is a classic example of how Aprojects global offices work in tandem to ensure customer satisfaction. Well done, team Aprojects!
