Altius Completes Port To Door Delivery Of 124 Ton Transformer With Accessories

Altius S.A., our member representing Argentina and Bolivia in the Project Logistics Alliance, has successfully performed unloading, road transportation and installation at a wind form in Cuenca. The transformer, along with its accessories, weighed 147 tons and occupied a volume of 241.1 CBM.

The cargo consisted of 18 items, with the transformer alone weighing 124 tons. Altius constantly coordinated with all the parties involved in this operation to successfully install the transformer onto the foundation using a Jack and Slide system.

As is always the case, the Altius Engineering team was at the port during the unloading operation from the vessel M/V Altius on 27th September to supervise and liaise with all the teams working. Congratulations, team Altius on yet another successful delivery!
