Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), Project Logistics Alliance member from Germany, has recently loaded 8 elements of a dismantled press for automotive parts in Bremen, Germany. Loading took place at a car factory premises. The parts had to be delivered to Wilhelmshaven for recycling and scrapping. The transport was executed on two different days with eight trucks in total. The most interesting part was the headpiece of the press with a total weight of 80 tons.
As per transport permit, a surveyor was always on site to approve the lasing of the cargoes on the trucks. The transports left the factory at 3 am for discharge in Wilhelmshaven in the early morning hours. The complex registration procedures at the gate of the Mercedes Factory of drivers, the surveyor and BF3 drivers were managed by Alexander Global Logistics, which allowed a smooth process. Congratulations to the entire AGL team.
